What is Phosic?

I want to share the mindset of visual artists with museum goers through music, forging an empathy with the creator that cannot be relayed with an engraved plaque.

I started PhoSic, crafting minute-long pieces of music, customized to suit each still image, highlighting the synchronicity of photography with music. Thus, PhoSic!

Rather than traditional video that constantly switches scenes for the audience to stay busy, a still image allows people to look deeper into the image and to explore the story behind it.  I personally capture all of the images and produce all of the music myself, through a rich foundation in classical and orchestral training. Sound effects, harmony, dissonance, and dynamics create 60 second compositions, both efficient and impactful.

Hi this is Gaoyang Ganjin

I am a Landscape Photographer as well as a Music Producer. Phosic is an Art Form that I created to allow people to re-ppreciate art and look into each pieces of art in a deeper level. Have you seen tourists who goes to a museum, glimpses at each object in display for spends less than 5 seconds? I don’t blame them, not everyone can understand the Significance of each image just from the surface. I’m here to provide you both an Visual and Auditory experience to allow people to just take A MINUTE of their time to look at a piece of art and understand the meanings behind it.
